<\/figure>\n\n\n\nEligibility: The raffle is open only to legal residents of\nthe United States who are at least 16 years of age, excluding members and\nimmediate family members of the Walter Johnson High School Education Foundation (WJHSEF), as\nwell as employees and their immediate family members of Hyundai\nFitzgerald. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Raffle tickets: Eligible participants may purchase raffle tickets online only through the WJHS Education Foundation website at www.wjedfoundation.org.<\/a> Tickets are $75 each or three (3) for $180.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Prize details: \nOne (1) winner will receive one (1) prize each. All other expenses and\ncosts not expressly listed\u2014including but not limited to taxes, registration,\ndocumentation fees, and any other expense or cost not expressly included\nabove\u2014are the winner’s sole responsibility. The winner should report the winnings for tax purposes. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n Notification: The winner will be selected in a\nrandom drawing by a third-party accounting firm on 11\/10\/19. The winner does not have to be\npresent to win, but will be notified by phone and\/or email. The prize must be\nclaimed within seven (7) days of the drawing or it will be forfeited to an\nalternate winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Taxes and withholdings: The winner will take full responsibility of\nthe vehicle lease with Fitzgerald Hyundai. The winner is solely responsible for\npaying and reporting, as and when required by law, all income taxes and other\ntaxes and expenses attributable to the prize, and shall not indemnify, defend,\nprotect and hold harmless the WJHSEF against all claims relating to such taxes\nand expenses. The tax liability for the winner could be up to, but is not\nlimited to, $3,000. The winner is advised to consult a tax consultant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dealership: Fitzgerald Hyundai. Vehicle:\n2020 Hyundai Elantra SE; 3-year lease; 10,000 miles per year. Fitzgerald\nHyundai has the right to substitute the 2020 lease if there is a comparable\n2019 vehicle available on the lot. Vehicle displayed in advertising may not be\nthe actual vehicle leased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Limitation of Liability\/Hold Harmless\nAgreement: Each person who purchases a\nraffle ticket and\/or whose name appears on a raffle ticket order form: (a)\nacknowledge and agrees (for himself\/herself and for every successor in\ninterest) that the terms stated in this instrument are also conditions of the\nWJHSEF\u2019s obligations hereunder, and that any obligation of the WJHSEF is\nlimited solely to its undertaking to provide a prize to the winner of the\ndrawing as herein provided, subject to the stated terms and conditions, and that\nthe WJHSEF shall in no event be subject to any other obligation or liability,\nincluding but not limited to, any consequential, special or punitive damages of\nany kind; (b) agrees that the WJHSEF, its directors and members are not\nresponsible for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising in\nconnection with, or as a results of, this raffle and\/or that person\u2019s failure\nto win or redeem any prize, or that person\u2019s award of, acceptance of, or use\nof, any prize; and (c) releases and agrees to indemnify, defend, protect and\nhold harmless the WJHSEF, its officers and members and affiliated entities from\nand against all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind arising\nin connection with, or as a result of, this raffle and\/or that person\u2019s failure\nto win or redeem any prize; and (d) represents and warrants to the WJHSEF that\nhe\/she has read and understands these Rules and agrees to be bound by these\nRules and the WJHSEF\u2019s decisions, which will be final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Limited Number of Tickets: The maximum number of raffle tickets\navailable for sale is 1,200. If the WJHSEF does not meet the minimum number of ticket\nsales required for the vehicle lease, the WJHSEF reserves the right to cancel\nthe raffle.
