{"id":132,"date":"2015-06-30T11:47:54","date_gmt":"2015-06-30T16:47:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wjedfoundation.org\/wpcms\/?page_id=132"},"modified":"2018-01-20T11:49:02","modified_gmt":"2018-01-20T16:49:02","slug":"funded-projects","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.wjedfoundation.org\/wpcms\/funded-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Funded Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 align=\"center\">Support for WJ Tops $315,000<\/h3>\n<p align=\"left\">As of June 30, 2015, the WJ Education Foundation passed the $315,000 mark in providing support for Walter Johnson High School.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Funds have been applied to support the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Auditorium and site enhancements<\/li>\n<li>Professional development grants for faculty<\/li>\n<li>A recording studio<\/li>\n<li>A language lab<\/li>\n<li>A mobile laptop lab<\/li>\n<li>Grants recognizing student achievement<\/li>\n<li>Funding for equipment for the music, art, and science departments<\/li>\n<li>Updating the WJ Media Center collections<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"left\">In addition to funds already applied, the Foundation is currently reviewing additional grants for science equipment and professional development, support for expanding academic programs, and equipment for the auditorium.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">All of this has been made possible by the generous and continuing support of the WJ community.<\/p>\n<h3 align=\"center\">Thank You For Your Continuing Support!<\/h3>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wjedfoundation.org\/graphics\/pie_chart-support_as_of_06-30-2015.jpg\" alt=\"Total Support Provided As Of June 30, 2015\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<hr size=\"1\" \/>\n<p>The Foundation would like to encourage the staff at WJ to consider applying for either a Professional Development Grant or General Grant for developing and implementing programs that will enhance student learning.
